Easter Decorations

Since we recently moved in, and added my mother-in-law's boxes to our garage and basement, my Easter decorations are blocked. Luckily I found some colorful buckets in various sizes that I could alter and use for decor and for the kids.

I took one of the smaller buckets to experiment on. I didn't have any paint, so I I chose paper to coordinate with the pink/purple color of the rims.

Cutting the paper to fit the bucket is difficult, so the edges are uneven. Nothing that lace and rick rack couldn't fix! Then I found a rabbit silhouette online to trace and cut out of text paper. Then I used the cotton from a Q-Tip to make the tail. All I need to do now is find some letters to add a word. The bucket is too small for the kids to have so I think I will just spell Easter or Hippity Hop on it.

Easter Bucket Supplies

Bucket - Target
Paper - American Crafts
Lace - Really Reasonable Ribbon
Rick Rack - Wrights
Glossy Accents Glue

I am entering this into a challenge at Decorate to Celebrate
