Mad Tea Party and GIVEAWAY!

Welcome to my blog! And welcome to the 7th Annual Mad Tea Party sponsored by A Fanciful Twist.

It is my first year participating, very exciting! I wasn't able to implement all of my plans for the day, due to hubby spraining his ankle badly this week, but I wanted to share a wonderful little banner I made for the Gecko Galz Cross Promotion event with A Wild Abandon. Check out Gecko Galz for more pieces created using products from these wonderful companies!

And be sure to check out the giveaway at the end of this post to celebrate this day!

Mad Tea Party Banner by Jess Moore

Paper - With Wild Abandon Digital Papers
Label Frame - With Wild Abandon Digital Image
Alice Images - Gecko Galz Mad Hatter Digital Stamps
Watercolor Pencils - Prismacolor
Glitter glue - Studio G
Cardstock - Recollections
Metal Bows - Recollections
Letter Stamps - Hampton Art
Inks - Distress Ink Colors Brushed Corduroy and Black Soot
Flowers - Prima
Ruffle - Making Memories
Pop Dots - Michael's

Cut banner pieces and ink edges. Glue metal bows on. Color Alice images with pencils, fussy cut out, and add glitter glue. Let dry. Glue lace onto banner pieces, leaving extra at each end to hang. Fussy cut label image. Ink edges. Stamp words, cut, ink, and add to label. Using pop dots, add Alice images to banner pieces. Glue rosette ruffle to back top. Add flowers to front. Use pop dots to adhere label to banner pieces. Be sure all is dry, then hang. Makes a great piece for a tea party!

Now down to the fun stuff!!  I have a zip file of digital stamps to giveaway from Gecko Galz, the Mad Hatter Digital Stamp Set. Just leave a comment on this post and follow my blog. I will choose a random comment and announce the winner on Monday!

Now, comment away, and please head over to A Fanciful Twist for the list of partygoers so that you can visit and see all of the wonderful Mad Tea Parties going on out there in blog land!
